Draft PAG Public Involvement Policy Comment Form

Pima Association of Governments (PAG) is seeking public comments on its draft Public Involvement Policy. (PIP) The PIP provides a structure for active public participation to help PAG better identify regional needs that can be addressed in our plans and policies.  The 45-day public comment period is Oct. 17, 2017, through Nov. 30, 2017.

PAG is an association of local, tribal and state governments and a metropolitan planning organization that is federally required (23 CFR 450.316 [b] [1]) by the Federal Highway Administration to have a public involvement process to qualify for federal funds dedicated to advancing regional transportation planning efforts. This PIP also addresses Federal Transit Administration requirements for a public participation process for the FTA-required Program of Projects (49 U.S.C. 5307[c]), which is developed by the City of Tucson. The draft PIP is an update to PAG's original policy prepared in 1994, updated in 2006 and amended in 2012.

We invite you to read the draft PIP and share your comments below.  Your input will be reviewed and considered for any final updates to the PAG PIP.

A copy of the draft PIP also is available for review at Pima Association of Governments, 1 E. Broadway Blvd., Suite 401, Tucson, and also at the following locations:
