Guaranteed Ride Home Program (Español

If you ever wonder how you would get home from work in case of a personal emergency or need to work overtime, Sun Rideshare offers a Guaranteed Ride Home program which allows up to four free taxi vouchers per year to registered Sun Rideshare participants. So if you have a sick child on the day you carpool or your boss asks you to work later than your bus pick up time, you have that added comfort of knowing you have a way to get home.

To qualify for GRH, you must carpool, vanpool, bike, ride the bus or walk to work at least twice a week. All participants must live and work in Pima County. You can register your commute with PAG by:

Once you are registered, a taxi voucher will be available as needed in the Sun Rideshare Travel Database. Login with your email address and password and follow the instructions to print a voucher. If you do not have an email address, a paper voucher will be sent to your home address to use in the case of an emergency. Each registrant can use up to four vouchers every 12 months. A supervisor’s signature is required on all vouchers.  GRH vouchers can only be used to travel to your home from your workplace. Sun Tran also offers a Guaranteed Ride Home program.

Qualifying emergencies:

  • Personal or family illness
  • Personal or family emergency
