 American Community Survey

The data presented in these Community Profiles are from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS).  The ACS is a nationwide survey designed to provide communities with reliable and timely demographic, social, economic and housing data on an annual basis.

Single-year data is available for places with a population of 65,000 or more. Three-year estimates are available for places with a population of 20,000 or more. In 2010, five-year estimates will be made available for smaller geographic areas.
