9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Lower Level Meeting Room
Pima Association of Governments (PAG) will hold its annual Stormwater Regulations for the Construction Industry Seminar. This venue provides an interface between stormwater regulators and people working in construction to help you learn more about the variations among local ordinances. The seminar includes presentations by a panel of local governments and state agencies.
Participants may ask questions about current regulatory requirements and how to implement best management practices (BMPs) to prevent erosion and transport of sediments from construction sites. Presentations provide information about the governance of the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) program and explain the requirements for the development and implementation of an operator’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). Our goal is to provide guidance for challenging areas and provide new information about tools for Low Impact Development (LID), rainwater harvesting and Green Infrastructure (GI).
The seminar is open to both new and experienced stormwater managers, from designers to inspectors to those responsible for implementation. Varied presentations will help to connect those in stormwater program "silos" for more effective management.
To register, click on the link at top left or call PAG at (520) 792-1093. The free seminar is limited to 120 people. Continuing Education Credits (CECs) will be available and lunch will be provided. For additional questions, please contact Mead Mier, PAG Senior Watershed Planner, at mmier@PAGnet.org
