A group from southern Arizona is briefed by Arizona Public Service Saguaro Plant Manager, Jeff Lee, at a tour of the Red Rock facility organized by the Southern Arizona Regional Solar Partnership.  The 1 megawatt facility operates with single axis tracking solar mirrors concentrating radiant energy onto tubes filled with mineral oil. The heat is transferred in an exchanger to drive the power cycle.
