Ironwood Forest National Monument Tour
|
Spend a day in one of southern Arizona\'s most treasured landscapes as the BLM celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Ironwood Forest National Monument, March 20, 2010, 8:00 a.m. Throughout the tour, BLM speakers and resource specialists will share the history and cultural heritage within the monument, as well as highlight the diverse vegetation and wildlife surrounding the Ironwood trees, for which the monument was named. Brief Description:
PAG’s Environmental Planning Advisory Committee (EPAC) is the principal venue in the greater Tucson region for the discussion of environmental topics that affect all residents of the area. A wide range of topics are considered and, on occasion, resolutions proposing policies are considered for submittal to PAG’s Regional Council. EPAC’s membership includes representatives from PAG’s jurisdictional members, designated citizen representatives, and representatives from community and professional interests.
