Pima Association of Governments manages Clean Cities, a voluntary program of the U.S. Department of Energy.  Joining the Clean Cities Coalition gives you the opportunity to work with our private and public sector partners to support the national goals of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program including:

• Reducing national dependence on imported petroleum for transportation
• Providing cleaner and more economical modes of transportation
• Improving the air quality of the region
• Developing clean fuels infrastructure
• Educating the public about clean fuels
• Stimulating economic development of the region

Tucson Clean Cities offers the following membership levels:

Saguaro Level

Members at this level:

• Attend coalition meetings and help complete the U.S. Department of Energy annual report
• Commit to specific goals to reduce petroleum use in exchange for a higher level of support and engagement from Clean Cities staff
• Receive membership plaque
• Due level: $350 annually
  (Government agencies are eligible for a Saguaro level membership with waived registration fee)

Cholla Level

Members at this level work toward reducing petroleum use, but do not commit to specific goals.  Members receive a membership certificate.  There are no dues for this level.
