Criteria
The recipient of the Thomas L. Swanson Regional Leadership Award must:
- Enhance the regional community despite often restrictive jurisdictional boundaries;
- Promote cooperation among citizens and local elected officials; and
- Provide leadership for regional growth via strong local government representation.
