 ThinkTank

You are trying to collect information in a group setting to make a decision. You want to hear everyone's thoughts and ideas. Yet only a few people speak up and one person dominates the conversation. This was helpful but not exactly what you wanted. So how do you level the playing field?

ThinkTank, an Internet-based software tool, provides you with the capability to collect information from all group participants in an open, yet confidential environment with the use of laptops and a meeting facilitator.

What is the ThinkTank process?
ThinkTank is the leading tool among innovators to leverage collaboration and group intelligence to create new dimensions of performance. Innovating with group intelligence software helps determine who knows what, empowers all participants to think and contribute outside normal boundaries and engages all individuals in creative or problem-solving objectives.

What are the advantages of using ThinkTank?
ThinkTank allows groups to work better together. Whether the objective is to get through important processes such as collaborative brainstorming, strategic planning, facilitating focus groups, requirements gathering, or idea management, ThinkTank helps get it done in less than half the usual time and cost.

ThinkTank is a powerful tool that has the following advantages:

  • Anonymity – ThinkTank sessions are conducted anonymously, allowing participants to focus on the issues and solutions.
  • Equality – ThinkTank levels the playing field so that the contributions of each participant are weighted equally in the group process.
  • Productivity – ThinkTank allows participants to achieve objectives simultaneously, which results in more productivity in less time.
  • Accuracy – ThinkTank captures all of the content produced during a session and produces an accurate transcript at the end of the session.

When should ThinkTank be used?
ThinkTank can be used to quickly generate many ideas to solve problems or find opportunities, distill those ideas to the very best, clarify exactly what is meant, organize the ideas, evaluate and prioritize them, build consensus among the team and, finally, produce deliverables that help the team take action.

ThinkTank should be used for:

  • Risk Assessment
  • Strategic Planning
  • Customer Feedback
  • Project Management
  • Process Improvement
  • Product/Service Development
 Fee Structure

ThinkTank sessions are provided at no cost to PAG member jurisdictions. The following fee structure applies to other organizations:
  • Non-Profit: $1,000
  • For-Profit:   $2,500
