Pima Association of Governments is conducting a Graduation Safety Message Contest that is open to high school students in Pima County.
Enrolled high school students may submit a graduation safety cell phone video and/or a graduation safety message/#hashtag for use on PAG social media and web communication channels. The purpose of the contest is to develop a safety message to share during graduation week when there is a greater number of car accidents. PAG currently works with teen safety councils in Sahuarita and Oro Valley to educate students on the importance of transportation safety.
The contest opens April 13, 2017, and the final date to submit entries is May 5, 2017. Entries should be submitted via email to SafetyContest@PAGregion.com
Entries from finalists will be posted on www.Facebook.com/PAGregion from May 10-12.
At least 200 likes are required for entries to receive cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Other judging criteria will consider the number of students involved in development of the message and level of creativity.
Winning entries will be promoted via PAG and high school social media channels during graduation week: May 22 – 26, 2017. See complete details below:

Contest details: Open to enrolled high school students in Pima County. Submissions must be sent to: SafetyContest@PAGregion.com. Participants must be a student or students enrolled at a public or private high school in Pima County. One submission per student. Finalists will be posted on www.Facebook.com/PAGregion from May 10-12. Winning messages will be posted May 22-26. Entries should include student name(s), name of high school where enrolled and contact information (email/phone).
