The Business Subcommittee consisted of members representing such interests as Chambers of Commerce, business alliances, neighborhood business associations, franchise owners and operators, financial institution officers, owners of small community and ethnic businesses, and utility companies.
The Community-Based Organizations Subcommittee consisted of representatives from community-based and faith-based organizations, Community Development Block Grant agencies, and other agencies that serve hard-to-count populations.
The Education Subcommittee consisted of educational leaders, superintendents, principals, school district administrators, charter school administrators, teachers, students and university housing coordinators. The Media Subcommittee consisted of local media representatives, community directors, publishers and editors of neighborhood newspapers, and ethnic media representatives.
